The MOVE runs on nine to 36 volts direct current and also shuts down automatically when the ignition is switched off. Basically, the Mini PC always consumes extremely little power: with just over 20 watts at full power, the MOVE is one of the true energy savers in the Mini PC world.

The built-in AMD Radeon HD6320 graphics processor guarantees that messages and images always come across crystal clear. And whether bus or ship, the extended temperature range from arctic -30°C to tropical +60°C leaves nothing to be desired at the place of use.

The MOVE T56N will be available to partners from mid-February and to all other customers from the end of February 2012.

Hard disk drive prices have also fallen slightly, but are still considerably higher than before the flood disaster and, according to feedback from hard disk drive manufacturers, the hard disk drive market is expected to return to normal towards the end of the second quarter. Of course, we will promptly consider any improvements, especially in terms of price. The spo-book TECH NM10 will be available for partners from mid-February and for all other customers from the end of February 2012.

Compared to the prices in August, hard disk prices have currently increased by 200% to 300% with very limited availability. As the situation will not improve noticeably until mid-2012 at the earliest, we recommend that our customers consider using solid state disks. If you would like advice or a trial in this regard, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The latest attraction – the spo-book ELIX QM67 – now expands the portfolio of digital advertising media for digital signage, industrial control and KIOSK/POS.

“The spo-book ELIX QM67 is more or less the big brother of the ELIX product line, which has been available on the market since January 2011,” says Managing Director Michael Sporrer. “During further development, we paid particular attention to new connections and the use of innovative second-generation Core-i CPUs. This allows us to achieve significantly increased graphics performance, which rounds off our new range and will inspire end customers in particular.”

The ELIX QM67 system is expected to be available for spo-comm partners from the beginning of November, for all other customers exclusively from spo-comm from the end of November 2011.

In addition to the webcam, the spo-book SQUARE is equipped with many useful connections and features that make it flexible and practical for all areas of retail, hospitality, light industrial applications or building automation. The front panel complies with protection class IP65. The special feature: The NANO comes in a double pack. Variant 1, the NANO ION2 with an Intel nVIDIA combination, not only impresses with a greatly increased graphics performance that enables Full HD videos, but also has a greatly improved 3D performance compared to conventional Intel Atom systems – including digital DVI and HDMI connections. Variant 2, the NANO Fusion, is an AMD-based system with similar performance to the NANO ION2, but ultimately slightly cheaper in price.

In addition to numerous SATA interfaces, the up to 5 Gigabit LAN ports provide multiple possibilities in demanding network environments. 2 x 1.8 GHz D525 CPUs do their work on the proven Intel Atom platform with NM10 chipset. The 6 SATA ports can be used both independently and in RAID (0, 1, 5, 10). In the basic configuration, 2 Intel Gigabit network connections are available, which can be expanded to up to 5 connections with an additional module.
