The powerful Intel platform has 5 serial interfaces, 2 Gigabit LAN and 6 USB ports. A monitor can be connected via HDMI, DVI or optionally VGA (via adapter). The high processor and graphics performance in combination with the variety of interfaces recommend the device for use in the KIOSK or POS area, or for measuring, evaluating and visualizing data.
Version 2: spo-book NOVA GM45 eSATA 12V
Compared to version 1, there are 3 serial interfaces and 2 eSATA ports for fast data transfer to external data carriers. What the two devices have in common is that they run on the Windows 7, Windows 7 Embedded and Ubuntu 12.04 operating systems. The entry-level model will be available at a lower price than the previous WINDBOXIII, while the top-of-the-range model will cost a little more. As usual, the latest model from the mini PC specialists impresses with its simple elegance and lightness: weighing just 1.5 kilograms, the WINDBOXIII+ is easy to handle in terms of installation and requires little space.
