Industrial-grade PC with customizable CPU

Both Panel PCs are equipped with an Intel® Celeron® 6305E CPU as standard, which can optionally be replaced by a more powerful Intel® Core™ i3-1115G4E processor. The CPU is supported by up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and an NVMe M.2 SSD with a capacity of up to 2TB supported. Thanks to the temperature range of 0°C to +50°C, a display with IP65 certification and a robust, passively cooled metal housing, the SQUARE 18 and SQUARE 21 undoubtedly deserve to be called industrial PCs.

2x DisplayPort for 8K resolution and LCD display

The highlight of the SQUARE models is the eponymous 10-point multi-touch LCD display. The 18.5″ version has a resolution of 1366 x 768 (WXGA) and the 21.5″ version has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FullHD). Thanks to the integrated Intel® UHD graphics unit and two DisplayPort 1.4 connections, two screens can be controlled, allowing content to be displayed in a resolution of 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz – i.e. 8K.

Optional equipment and connections for the point of sale (PoS)

As is usual with our industrial PCs, the SQUARE 18 and 21 can also be optionally equipped with Windows 11 Professional and Windows 10 IoT. There is also the option of WiFi.

The Panel PCs have a variety of connections, including one Gigabit and one 2.5 Gbps LAN port, as well as four USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports and two COM RS232/422/485 ports. The latter enable the connection of external peripheral devices and thus also use at the point of sale.

Tablet PCs – what’s special?

Tablet PCs are particularly characterized by their flexibility, as they can be used in a wide range of applications. From industry and retail to logistics, to keep an eye on stock levels at all times. Tablet PCs are also ideal for outdoor applications. For example, for documentation on a construction site, in agriculture to record field information or in the field service to retrieve customer information or similar. The tablets are not only powerful application devices, but can also be flexibly configured with accessories such as a docking station for power supply, data transfer, desktop expansion or multimedia use. The replacement battery is perfect for guaranteeing continuous use even when away from home, for example. An integrated barcode scanner is ideal for recording serial numbers in stock.  

The spo-comm product portfolio has also included a tablet, the RUGGED Tab 10, for a few weeks now.

We have expanded and enriched our product portfolio with the new RUGGED Tab 10 tablet PC. The tablet is equipped with an Intel® Celeron® N5100 processor, 8GB RAM and an onboard 128 GB eMMC SSD and offers Intel® UHD Graphics for optimal graphics. The tablet is offered with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC Entry or Windows 11 Professional 64-bit. It is also equipped with various accessories, such as a backup battery, a 2D barcode scanner, a vehicle holder and much more.

Industrial tablet with extended temperature range

With an integrated Intel® Celeron® N5100 processor with up to 2.8 GHz and up to 8GB RAM, as well as a 128GB SSD, the tablet is already well equipped. Thanks to the possible ambient conditions of -20°C to +60°C, the RUGGED Tab performs perfectly. Thanks to its fanless housing with dimensions of 270 x 23 x 189 mm and IP65, as well as MIL-STD-810G certification, it is also perfectly suited for production halls where dust or moisture are the order of the day.

8MP camera and connectivity

Our new addition is equipped with a selection of the most important connections. In addition to a USB 3.0 and a USB 3.1 interface, the tablet also has an HDMI 1.4a port with a possible resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz – i.e. 4K. The display size of 10.1″ explains the name of our RUGGED Tab, which has a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. It also boasts a SIM card slot, a Gigabit LAN interface, a line-in connection and a microSD card slot. The tablet has a front camera with 5MP and a rear camera with 8MP.

Docking station, vehicle mount and barcode scanner

Depending on the area of application, the RUGGED Tab 10 N5100 Entry is perfectly equipped with the comparatively large selection of accessories. If the tablet is in use for a longer period of time and not near the charging station, an additional backup battery with a maximum runtime of 6 hours can be purchased here. An optional 2D barcode scanner is available for the retail or logistics sector. In addition to the docking station, which can also be purchased as an accessory, a vehicle mount is also available if the industrial tablet is being used on construction sites or in a forklift truck, for example.

Optional operating system and WiFi

The RUGGED Tab 10 N5100 Entry can be optionally equipped with Windows 11 Professional or Windows 10 IoT. WiFi is already integrated.

Power-saving industrial PC with 10 watt TDP

The BOX J6412 is equipped with a powerful Intel® Celeron® J6412 processor with up to 2.6 GHz on 4 cores. With support for up to 32GB RAM and an NVMe SSD of up to 2TB, even demanding applications can be mastered. Despite its high performance, the Mini-PC is extremely energy-efficient and has a TDP of just 10 watts. Thanks to the fanless housing and a temperature range of 0°C to +50°C, the system can also be used in dusty, damp or hot environments, such as production halls or in industry in general.

4K digital signage player

The Intel® Celeron® CPU comes with an integrated Intel® UHD graphics unit, which also enables digital signage applications. The two HDMI 2.0 ports on the back of the housing allow content to be played on up to two screens simultaneously. Naturally in a resolution of 4096×2160 @ 60Hz (4K).  

Small housing, large variety of connections

The main criterion for being allowed to call yourself a “BOX” is to have very small dimensions. With dimensions of just 118 x 109 x 44 mm (W x D x H) – which corresponds to a volume of just 0.9 liters – the BOX J6412 certainly meets this requirement.  Nevertheless, the housing has enough space for the most important interfaces. The power button, the audio connection (line-out), the COM RS232 and two of the four USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 ports are located on the front. The other two USB 3.2 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports and the two HDMI 2.0 ports are located on the back panel. Switching from the predecessor J4125 to the latest model is also child’s play thanks to exactly the same dimensions.

Optional operating system and WiFi

The BOX J6412 has not only been upgraded in terms of CPU, but also in terms of the optional operating systems: On the one hand, the system can be equipped with Windows 11. Windows 10 IoT and Linux Ubuntu version 22.04.2 can also be installed. The option to expand the system with WiFi is also available here. There are 2 antenna connections on the housing for this purpose. A wall bracket is already included.

Outdoor digital signage and surveillance

In addition to an integrated Intel® Core® i5-10500TE CPU with up to 3.7 GHz on 6 cores, the RUGGED Q470E can be equipped with up to 64GB RAM and up to 2TB mass storage. The CPU also includes the Intel® UHD 630 graphics unit and two DisplayPort 1.2. This allows content to be played on two screens simultaneously in 4K resolution. Thanks to the extended temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, even under adverse outdoor conditions. The optional PoE module also enables applications in the surveillance sector.

Vehicle PC thanks to Wide Range Power Input 

Our RUGGED models are characterized above all by one thing: their robustness. This includes fanless cooling, which enables the system to function perfectly and smoothly even in dusty or damp conditions. The RUGGED Q470E also has a wide range power input from 9V to 60V and an optional battery pack. It is also tested in accordance with the military standard MIL-STD-810G and can therefore withstand 15G for 11ms. All these features give this PC the title of a perfect vehicle PC.

4x COM, 8x USB and 8x Gigabit LAN

The RUGGED Q470E is ideal for classic industrial applications as well as for Industry 4.0 and automation. The housing with its impressive dimensions of 242 x 240 x 85 mm (W x D x H) contains a number of interfaces that are important for the industry. In addition to 4 COM ports (RS 232/422/485) and a total of 8 USB ports (4x 3.0 and 4x 3.1 Gen 2), the PC also has 8 Gigabit LAN ports. There are also two SIM card slots and two audio connections.

Optional operating system, WiFi and PoE

It’s not just the operating system that can be selected for this spo-comm Mini-PC. Here you have the choice between Windows 11 Pro, Windows 10 in the IoT version and Linux Ubuntu. Optionally, you can also add WLAN, a 4G or 5G module and, of course, the 8x PoE extension. A wall bracket is already included.

Ideal for digital signage applications

The built-in Celeron® CPU comes with Intel® UHD graphics, making our smallest model perfect for the digital signage sector. With two video outputs on the small housing, one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.2 output, a resolution of up to 4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz can be displayed on two screens simultaneously – i.e. 4K.

Appearance also counts here

The robust metal housing boasts minimal dimensions of 115 x 76 x 27 mm and fanless cooling. The BOX N6211 is therefore perfect for small spaces and/or somewhat dusty environments, it shines on all sides with its versatility.
Despite its small size, the system is in no way inferior to its colleagues. In addition to the two video outputs just mentioned, the housing also has three USB 3.1 ports, a Gigabit LAN port, a SIM card slot and an audio output on the front and back panel. The scope of delivery also includes a wall bracket, which makes the mini PC even more flexible to use.

Windows 11 and optional WiFi

Our new BOX N6211 can optionally be equipped with Windows 11 as well as with Ubuntu in the versions Ubuntu 22.04.02 and 20.04.4. WLAN can also be added; 2 WLAN antennas are available for this purpose.
The BOX N6211 is the ideal companion for industrial and digital signage applications. Thanks to its extremely small dimensions, it can also be used when space is at a premium. The mini PC is available immediately and can be configured and ordered on our website according to your requirements.

As the MXM GTX 1050 TI GPU is unfortunately no longer available, we have to say goodbye to the RUGGED PC.

The RUGGED GTX 1050Ti is characterized in particular by its robust and passively cooled housing. It also shone with full operational capability at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C and a wide range current input of 9 to 48 volts, which is particularly advantageous for use in vehicles.

Alternatively, the other PCs in the spo-comm RUGGED series, the RUGGED Ryzen and the RUGGED Q170, are also suitable for his areas of application. With their wide range power input of 9 – 48 volts, both are ideal for applications in the vehicle and outdoor sectors. The RUGGED Ryzen stands out again with its AMD Ryzen V1807 CPU.

Fanless and versatile industrial PC

As befits a genuine WINDBOX, the new Model III Ultra also meets all the requirements for the title of industrial PC. Thanks to its metal housing, fanless cooling and an extended temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, the system can be used in industrial environments without any problems.  

Digital signage PC with Intel® Iris® Xe

But what about the inner values of our new model? The 12th generation Intel® Core® i5 CPU scores with 2 Performance Cores with up to 4.4 GHz and 8 Efficient Cores with up to 3.3 GHz. This is accompanied by the integrated Intel® Iris® Xe graphics, which, in combination with 2 HDMI 2.0 and 2 DisplayPorts, makes it possible to play content in 4K resolution on up to four screens simultaneously. The WINDBOX III Ultra is therefore also a perfect digital signage PC.  

Flat design with all important connections

As the successor to the WINDBOX III Evo, the system naturally has the same dimensions of 285x196x30 mm (WxDxH) and can therefore be easily integrated into existing applications. The flat housing still offers enough space for various connections: In addition to the four video outputs, there are a total of 5 USB interfaces (3x USB 3.2 Gen and 1x USB 2.0), 2x COM RS232/422/485 and 2x 2.5 GbE LAN. A VESA wall bracket is also always included in the scope of delivery.

Digital signage PC in a class of its own

Visually, the KUMO VI has the familiar spo-comm industrial PC look. However, there is much more behind the robust metal housing with dimensions of 208 x 204 x 61 mm (W x D x H). At the core of the KUMO VI is an 11th generation Intel® Core® i5 CPU (11400H) with 6 cores and a performance of up to 4.5 GHz each. The processor is supported by up to 64 GB of RAM and up to three mass storage devices in the form of two M.2 NVMe and a SATA SSD. Another highlight of this system is the dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card with 6GB of integrated VRAM.

Thanks to Nvidia RTX: ray tracing and machine learning

The dedicated RTX 3060 graphics card is combined with a total of 4 video outputs, 2 of which are HDMI 2.1 and 2 DisplayPort 1.4a. This allows content to be played in a resolution of 8K (7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz). But the KUMO VI doesn’t stop there: thanks to the 6GB GDDR6 RAM and 3840 CUDA cores integrated in the Nvidia graphics card, the industrial PC can also be used for demanding digital signage applications such as virtual reality, augmented reality, machine learning or ray tracing.

The housing of the KUMO VI not only scores points with its 4 video outputs, but has even more to offer. The two audio outputs Line Out and Mic In are located on the front, as well as one of the 5 USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, an SD card slot and the Thunderbolt 4 interface. In addition to the video outputs (2x HDMI and 2x DisplayPort), the four remaining USB 3.1 Gen 2 and two LAN ports (one of which is 2.5 Gbps) are located on the rear.

New locations: The control cabinet

The MOUNT Silver is the first Mini-PC in our portfolio to be equipped with a DIN rail bracket. It enables uncomplicated use in switch cabinets. Until now, this could only be ordered as an option for models in the BRICK and WINDBOX series. Thanks to its dimensions of 160 x 118 x 63 mm, our newcomer is also very easy to install in control cabinets.

 

Energy-saving industrial PC

To make the MOUNT Silver even more suitable for industrial applications, it is equipped with a robust metal housing and fanless cooling. Its low power consumption of just 7 watts in idle mode and the extended temperature range from 0°C to 50°C also stand out. The heart of our new MOUNT Silver is the eponymous Intel® Pentium® Silver J5005 processor with 4x 1.5 GHz (up to 2.8 GHz), which is supported by up to 8GB DDR4 RAM. The PC’s mass storage can of course be freely configured: From a 1TB HDD, to M.2 and 2.5″ SATA SSDs in various sizes, to the so-called “Power Loss Protection” SSD. The Intel® UHD Graphics 605 graphics unit is also integrated. The MOUNT Silver is available with the Windows 10 operating systems in the Home, Professional and IoT Enterprise versions, as well as with Linux Ubuntu and Windows 11.

Our new addition continues to impress with its variety of connections, from VGA and COM to USB, the MOUNT Silver is equipped for every need. More specifically, the PC has two VGA and HDMI 2.0 video outputs, four USB 3.0 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports, a line-out jack plug and four COM RS232/422/485 interfaces. This mini PC is therefore ideally suited for a wide variety of applications, with the top-hat rail bracket always remaining the highlight.
