Version1: spo-book NOVA GM45

The powerful Intel platform has 5 serial interfaces, 2 Gigabit LAN and 6 USB ports. A monitor can be connected via HDMI, DVI or optionally VGA (via adapter). The high processor and graphics performance in combination with the variety of interfaces recommend the device for use in the KIOSK or POS area, or for measuring, evaluating and visualizing data.

Version 2: spo-book NOVA GM45 eSATA 12V

Compared to version 1, there are 3 serial interfaces and 2 eSATA ports for fast data transfer to external data carriers. If the internal memory is not sufficient or you need to take your data with you, you can easily connect hard disks via the external SATA interface. Ideal for use as part of security solutions with network cameras. This system can also be operated with 12 V direct current. A power supply unit for connection to a 110 or 220 V power supply is included in the scope of delivery.

All versions of the new operating system can be ordered, Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
The remaining three systems will soon have the latest drivers available and Windows 8 can then also be installed there. We will inform you about this here.

On the one hand, the latest Intel Atom platform (Cedar Trail) has been combined with a new graphics processor from nVIDIA. The result is an unbeatable price/performance ratio that leaves nothing to be desired. In short, the new spo-book NANO ION3. 
In addition, there is a system based on the Intel Sandy Bridge platform that adapts flexibly to the respective performance requirements. The cost-effective entry-level version of the spo-book NANO HM65T has an Intel Celeron 857 CPU. An Intel Core i-5 processor is available for performance-hungry applications.

With these two new models,  is expanding and updating the performance range of spo-book NANO Mini-PCs. The robust metal housing is robust in use and can be easily adapted to the customer’s design specifications if required, even for small quantities  . The perfect system for ODM projects.

More spo-comm Mini-PCs

While the housing and connections are identical to the previous model, the inner workings of the Mini-PC are available in two different versions: firstly as an entry-level model with an Intel Celeron CPU for WINDBOX newcomers, and secondly as a top-of-the-range model with a powerful Intel Core i5 CPU. What the two devices have in common is that they run on the Windows 7, Windows 7 Embedded and Ubuntu 12.04 operating systems. The entry-level model will be available at a lower price than the previous WINDBOXIII, while the top-of-the-range model will cost a little more. As usual, the latest model from the mini PC specialists impresses with its simple elegance and lightness: weighing just 1.5 kilograms, the WINDBOXIII+ is easy to handle in terms of installation and requires little space. The WINDBOXIII+ is expected to be available for spo-comm partners from August 2012 and for all other customers exclusively from spo-comm from September.

The WINDBOX serie

Solid State Drives are now available with a capacity of up to 240GB. Numerous other equipment variants can be found in the respective systems. We are at your disposal to clarify the possibility of your configuration requirements.

The new Mini PC continues to impress with its built-in state-of-the-art Intel Atom technology, but now has an additional interface for monitors in addition to the standard DVI interface with HDMI – on which razor-sharp images and videos in Full HD can now be displayed.

Other highlights of the powerful device include the unrestricted use of 64-bit operating systems and the extended RAM: up to 4 GB RAM compared to the previous 2 GB RAM. Energy consumption is also top: at maximum performance, only around 19 watts are consumed – thanks to the very powerful but extremely economical combination of a powerful graphics processor and a particularly energy-efficient processor. As far as external influences are concerned, the Plus model also scores with strong performance: It runs smoothly at temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C and even humidity of up to 90 percent cannot stop its performance.

The WINDBOXII Plus will be available exclusively from spo-comm for spo-comm partners from mid-April 2012, for all other customers from mid-May. The predecessor model, the WINDBOXII, is of course still available. Thanks to the same design, the WINDBOXII Plus can easily and quickly replace the previous model without any user effort.
