With the WINDBOX II NX, spo-comm is bringing back a well-known product series and at the same time raising it to a new technical level. The WINDBOX series has always been known for its particularly compact, fanless industrial PCs with high reliability. Now it is celebrating its comeback – more modern, more powerful and more flexible than ever before.

Equipped with an Intel® N150 CPU, triple display support and 2.5 GbE LAN, the WINDBOX II NX is aimed at companies looking for a space-saving solution for industry, digital signage, kiosk systems or edge computing.

Ultra-flat industrial PC for digital signage and kiosk applications

A key highlight of the WINDBOX II NX is its particularly flat housing. With a height of just 19 mm, the system can even be integrated where conventional industrial PCs reach their limits. Typical applications include installation behind screens, in information systems, automatic machines or control cabinets.

Thanks to its fanless design, the industrial PC is completely silent and maintenance-free. This makes it the ideal solution for 24/7 continuous operation, where reliability and low downtimes are paramount.

Industrial PC with triple 4K display for multi-monitor and digital signage

The WINDBOX II NX has the right equipment for modern digital signage projects. Up to three independent displays can be operated simultaneously via 2x DisplayPort 1.4 and 1x HDMI 2.0. Content can be output in 4K resolution - ideal for advertising displays, menu boards, control stations or information systems.

Thanks to its compact design, the system can be mounted almost invisibly behind monitors and is perfect for professional multi-monitor installations in the digital signage sector.

Industrial PC with 2x 2.5 GbE LAN and flexible M.2 Extensions

The system also impresses across the board in terms of connectivity. Two 2.5 GbE LAN ports ensure fast data transmission and stable network connections - particularly important for edge applications, IoT systems and networked industrial environments.

The WINDBOX II NX also offers extensive expansion options. A 4G/LTE module can be integrated via the M.2 B-key slot, while the M.2 E-key slot offers space for WiFi or Bluetooth. An additional 2.5" SATA slot enables flexible storage expansion.

The WINDBOX II NX was developed for continuous industrial operation. A COM interface (RS232/422/485), TPM 2.0, a watchdog timer and a robust, shock and vibration-resistant design in accordance with IEC 60068-2 make the system ideal for machine control, process monitoring and IoT gateways.

With an extended temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, the industrial PC is also suitable for demanding environments in production, infrastructure or transportation applications.
