NEW: The MOUNT Silver – An industrial PC for control cabinets

We are starting the new year with a new product from spo-comm – a new industrial PC with new and familiar features. The MOUNT Silver impresses with a wide range of connections, fanless cooling and low power consumption, making it ideal for a wide variety of industrial applications.

New locations: The control cabinet

The MOUNT Silver is the first Mini-PC in our portfolio to be equipped with a DIN rail bracket. It enables uncomplicated use in switch cabinets. Until now, this could only be ordered as an option for models in the BRICK and WINDBOX series. Thanks to its dimensions of 160 x 118 x 63 mm, our newcomer is also very easy to install in control cabinets.

Energy-saving industrial PC

To make the MOUNT Silver even more suitable for industrial applications, it is equipped with a robust metal housing and fanless cooling. Its low power consumption of just 7 watts in idle mode and the extended temperature range from 0°C to 50°C also stand out. The heart of our new MOUNT Silver is the eponymous Intel® Pentium® Silver J5005 processor with 4x 1.5 GHz (up to 2.8 GHz), which is supported by up to 8GB DDR4 RAM. The PC's mass storage can of course be freely configured: From a 1TB HDD, to M.2 and 2.5" SATA SSDs in various sizes, to the so-called "Power Loss Protection" SSD. The Intel® UHD Graphics 605 graphics unit is also integrated. The MOUNT Silver is available with the Windows 10 operating systems in the Home, Professional and IoT Enterprise versions, as well as with Linux Ubuntu and Windows 11.

Variety of connections

Our new addition continues to impress with its variety of connections, from VGA and COM to USB, the MOUNT Silver is equipped for every need. More specifically, the PC has two VGA and HDMI 2.0 video outputs, four USB 3.0 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports, a line-out jack plug and four COM RS232/422/485 interfaces. This mini PC is therefore ideally suited for a wide variety of applications, with the top-hat rail bracket always remaining the highlight.
