NEW: RUGGED Q470E – Vehicle PC, monitoring and industry

RUGGED Q470E is the name of our latest industrial PC, which replaces the RUGGED Q170. Thanks to its innovative CPU, the usual industrial features and many possible customizations, the system can be used in industry, as a vehicle PC, but also in outdoor applications and for monitoring.

Outdoor digital signage and surveillance

In addition to an integrated Intel® Core® i5-10500TE CPU with up to 3.7 GHz on 6 cores, the RUGGED Q470E can be equipped with up to 64GB RAM and up to 2TB mass storage. The CPU also includes the Intel® UHD 630 graphics unit and two DisplayPort 1.2. This allows content to be played on two screens simultaneously in 4K resolution. Thanks to the extended temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, even under adverse outdoor conditions. The optional PoE module also enables applications in the surveillance sector.

Vehicle PC thanks to Wide Range Power Input

Our RUGGED models are characterized above all by one thing: their robustness. This includes fanless cooling, which enables the system to function perfectly and smoothly even in dusty or damp conditions. The RUGGED Q470E also has a wide range power input from 9V to 60V and an optional battery pack. It is also tested in accordance with the military standard MIL-STD-810G and can therefore withstand 15G for 11ms. All these features give this PC the title of a perfect vehicle PC.

4x COM, 8x USB and 8x Gigabit LAN

The RUGGED Q470E is ideal for classic industrial applications as well as for Industry 4.0 and automation. The housing with its impressive dimensions of 242 x 240 x 85 mm (W x D x H) contains a number of interfaces that are important for the industry. In addition to 4 COM ports (RS 232/422/485) and a total of 8 USB ports (4x 3.0 and 4x 3.1 Gen 2), the PC also has 8 Gigabit LAN ports. There are also two SIM card slots and two audio connections.

Optional operating system, WiFi and PoE

It's not just the operating system that can be selected for this spo-comm Mini-PC. Here you have the choice between Windows 11 Pro, Windows 10 in the IoT version and Linux Ubuntu. Optionally, you can also add WLAN, a 4G or 5G module and, of course, the 8x PoE extension. A wall bracket is already included.
