Advertima - The artificial intelligence

The Advertima installation consists of a special camera and a high-performance computer. The camera is installed inconspicuously in a display or similar and sends its recordings to the Advertima software solution. The engine is controlled via a so-called EMS, an experience management system. The self-learning software uses computer vision, machine learning and big data to interpret the appearance, movement and context of people in real time. Advertima's customers use the solution in the areas of smart retail, smart signage and smart building in order to distinguish themselves in the following five areas in particular: 360ยฐ customer insights, more reach and longer dwell time, more sales, as well as higher customer loyalty and the connection between an online and a physical world. The use of machine learning enables a continuous learning process to take place from existing data that is collected over time. This ensures that content adapts to changing times or trends in society.

A mini PC as the basis for computing - powered by NVIDIA GTX 1060

Advertima's real-time analysis calls for high performance. And this is exactly where the digital signage computer from spo-comm, which goes by the name of KUMO IV, comes into its own.
The high-end mini PC feels right at home in the Advertima installation. The KUMO IV's dedicated graphics card, an NVIDIA GTX 1060, makes even resource-hungry visual applications a smooth experience. To meet the high computing requirements of Advertima's self-learning AI, the industrial PC is equipped with an Intelยฎ Core i7-7700T CPU with four cores at 2.9 GHz each, which can be clocked up to 3.8 GHz per core if required.
