NEW: WINDBOX III Ultra – Update of the all-rounder PC

The WINDBOX range is one of the most versatile and popular in the spo-comm product range. The systems stand for a flat design, low power consumption and their many possible applications. The latest system goes by the name of WINDBOX III Ultra and, as usual, combines the above-mentioned aspects.

Fanless and versatile industrial PC

As befits a genuine WINDBOX, the new Model III Ultra also meets all the requirements for the title of industrial PC. Thanks to its metal housing, fanless cooling and an extended temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, the system can be used in industrial environments without any problems.

Digital signage PC with Intel® Iris® Xe

But what about the inner values of our new model? The 12th generation Intel® Core® i5 CPU scores with 2 Performance Cores with up to 4.4 GHz and 8 Efficient Cores with up to 3.3 GHz. This is accompanied by the integrated Intel® Iris® Xe graphics, which, in combination with 2 HDMI 2.0 and 2 DisplayPorts, makes it possible to play content in 4K resolution on up to four screens simultaneously. The WINDBOX III Ultra is therefore also a perfect digital signage PC.

Flat design with all important connections

As the successor to the WINDBOX III Evo, the system naturally has the same dimensions of 285x196x30 mm (WxDxH) and can therefore be easily integrated into existing applications. The flat housing still offers enough space for various connections: In addition to the four video outputs, there are a total of 5 USB interfaces (3x USB 3.2 Gen and 1x USB 2.0), 2x COM RS232/422/485 and 2x 2.5 GbE LAN. A VESA wall bracket is also always included in the scope of delivery.

Connectivity and operating system options

The WINDBOX III Ultra can be optionally equipped with WLAN and has 4 antenna connections for this purpose. When it comes to the operating system, you can choose between Windows 10 in the Home, Pro and IoT versions, as well as Windows 11 in the Home and Pro versions.
