In September 2015, the Klubhaus St. Pauli had its kick-off and became the neighborhood eye-catcher par excellence. Unique is probably the best way to describe the building. Almost 300 panels form a 700 square meter, three-dimensional advertising space and turn the clubhouse not only into Europe's largest media façade, but also, thanks to sophisticated programming, into an interactive digital signage event.
Looking behind the façade, creative and convergent thinking requires a powerful and reliable embedded PC to handle the installation in terms of control and the provision of web content.
High performance and graphics requirements make the spo-book KUMO III mini PC the ideal choice.
In the case of Klubhaus St. Pauli, the spo-book is used with a 240 GB SSD and an 8 GB SO-DDRIII RAM. The energy-efficient Core i5 processor from Intel and the GT740M graphics chip from nVIDIA ensure smooth control of the lighting, video and audio matrix, as well as the uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
The content of the media façade can also be controlled conveniently and reliably via remote control using a separate spo-book KUMO III.
