The story behind spo-comm: A look back

We travel back to the year 2003. Michael Sporrer, founder of spo-comm GmbH, recognizes a forward-looking trend early on: the increasing demand for ever more compact PC systems and their many advantages. With a clear vision, a good dose of motivation and sound IT know-how as well as countless creative ideas, he lays the foundations for spo-comm GmbH. What began as a one-man company was soon to develop into an impressive success story.  In the early years, Michael Sporrer brings active support on board: Bernd Moosmüller, today’s Head of Marketing & Sales, joins the team and provides important impetus for the further expansion of the company. But this is just the beginning. spo-comm grows rapidly: the first trainees are taken on, a dedicated sales team is formed and the company’s own production facility is set up.

Mini PCs are planned, assembled, sold and delivered to customers in a small space – but with all the more passion. Consulting, sales and production are seamlessly integrated. This combination, coupled with high quality standards, ensures that the company is gaining momentum.  This success makes it possible to set another major milestone in 2015: the move to the company’s own premises. The new spo-comm headquarters in the Schafhof district of Nuremberg becomes home to the growing team and their innovative ideas. A new chapter in the company’s history begins here – with room for visions, progress and further exciting developments.
