The companies Media Resources and Look Outdoor (USA) were given the task of installing two spectacular outdoor LED displays in the center of Atlanta (Georgia), the largest in North America after New York's Time Square. Reliability and fail-safe operation were the most important requirements for the overall solution. For space reasons, the "inner workings" should be as small as possible to facilitate the complex installation on site.
The innovative Vision iQ LED technology from Media Resources, supported by the high-performance graphics power of a spo-book, should ensure the reliable and high-quality display of content. After the successful series of tests, the spo-book NANO ION2 was chosen, which impressed with its strong graphics performance in a small and robust metal housing. Two systems found space in the central control unit, installed between the two - 5.48m x 5.48m and 3.35m x 12.19m - giant displays.
The spo-book NANO ION2 used are still "incredibly useful" for media sources, have the optimum dimensions and are easy to configure. These systems therefore offer an ideal basis for successful international cooperation.
