WHAT’S NEW? EOL for the SQUARE 21, new faces at spo-comm, and news from the BOX series

28.10.2026

We have some news to share at spo-comm! While we’re saying goodbye to one of our panel PCs, our team continues to grow. We’re also taking a look at our BOX series, which has recently added two new models. Find out what’s been happening with us in this “What’s New?” article.

Saying Goodbye to the SQUARE 21—the SQUARE 18 Remains an Alternative

It’s time to say goodbye to our SQUARE 21: This panel PC model has reached end-of-life (EOL) and is no longer part of our product lineup. However, if you’re still looking for a rugged panel PC for industrial applications or retail use, spo-comm still has the right solution for you.

With the SQUARE 18, we continue to offer a compact panel PC featuring an 18.5-inch multitouch display, a wide range of connectivity options, and an Intel® Celeron® 6305E processor. Thanks to its fanless design, the system is suitable for applications such as industrial control systems, point-of-sale (PoS) systems, and digital signage.

A New Addition to the spo-comm Team

A new team member has been supporting us at spo-comm for the past month. We’re thrilled to have her on board and look forward to introducing her to our blog readers in the coming weeks.

We’ll reveal exactly who has joined our team, what area she works in, and what responsibilities she’ll take on at spo-comm in a separate post coming soon. So it’s worth checking back!

Small, compact, versatile: The BOX series is growing

Our BOX series features exceptionally space-saving mini PCs that offer flexible deployment options thanks to their compact design and fanless metal enclosures. Whether for digital signage, IoT, or industrial applications—the BOX models combine small dimensions with energy-efficient hardware and versatile connectivity options.

We’ve recently added two new models to the lineup: the BOX N150 and the BOX x7433 Eco. While the BOX N150, with its Intel® N150 processor, offers versatile applications in industry, digital signage, and IoT, the BOX x7433 Eco is powered by the Intel Atom® x7433RE and is designed for cost-conscious industrial and embedded applications. These two systems thus expand the BOX series with additional options to meet a variety of requirements and budgets.
